Why we installed a state-of-the-art Water Purification System

Babies’ wee immune systems take time to build up resistance to bugs, bacteria, chemicals and other nasties in their first year of life. It is important they have access to pure, filtered water right from day one, in both their milk, food and drinking water.

To help with this, The Baby Pantry has installed a smart new water purification system, specifically engineered for optimum health, using a natural, environmentally-friendly process. All the water used in all our food is clean, pure and as natural as NZ water used to be, back in the 1700s (probably cleaner).

The system does not add any chemicals into the water and does not change the water chemistry. It inactivates harmful microorganisms such as bacteria and viruses, effectively preventing them from causing illness.

Because our state-of-the-art filtration system is followed by reverse osmosis and then an ultraviolet sterilisation system, there is no chlorine, fluoride and no heavy metals in the water. All the pathogens are destroyed in the time water passes through the disinfection chamber, leaving pure, clean water in its wake - perfect for babies, toddlers, big kids and adults.

Sometimes we lose sight of ourselves when our wee bundle of joy comes along.

Suddenly, there’s feeding, nappies to be changed, washing to hang out…. and bring in, there are groceries to pick up, meals to be prepared and in between, try to catch up with friends and get some sleep.
